Signal
Art Director
2016 – 2019

Currently working within the London office of this creative agency. Taking a central role in the creative department, duties include understanding brands in order to develop concepts across a variety of media, through to directing the development and production of the finished piece. Working for a medium sized agency with a relatively small creative team, has meant taking a very hands on approach to all aspects of the process, juggling multiple projects at once. This includes the core concept of a campaign, selling it to the client, and working on the execution of it, taking the lead in the design to deliver the final work. Part of these responsibilities is guiding and dealing with junior staff, and directing developers and other studio staff.

Tag Design & Interactive
Art Director
2011 – 2016

Worked within TDI, the (now defunct) creative arm of multi-national advertising production company Tag. Worked across a wide range of clients and industries to develop concepts for both integrated campaigns and one-off pieces, in design, photography, video and digital. Working closely with the production departments of Tag provided an in-depth understanding of the industry too.

* Jonathan Utracik has had to work many a late night on last minute projects. As long as there’s a promise of a takeaway, he’s probably fine with it.
† Totally undeserved. I maintain there were people who bought them far less.
